This app does not work and I think it is a scam!!!!! Ive asked for myomere back, but nothing has been refunded. It you want a weather app dont waste your money. They got my $4.99 dont give them yours.

I paid $4.99 and then they wanted $49.99 per year to have a subscription to view the weather maps. DONT BUY!

Lots of good weather data, if the image is available.. And if it actually loads the right forecast hour.. Pretty useless when it doesnt though.

I use the instant weather maps site a lot, especially in winter, so I downloaded the app partly to see if it was better, and partly to support a great website. The app is really easy to use, and the loop feature is great...never been able to find this on the website, if its there. My only gripe is the fact the models seem to max out at 120 hours, hence 4 stars. Saying that, much beyond 5 days is always a bit ropy, and I can still go the website for long range views.

A++++ for easy to use! You can check all the weather models from the National Weather Service! Love it!

I would personally benefit greatly from an explanation of the terms used in each model. Im not professionally trained, obviously,.... Am excellent learner tho!

I was looking forward to using this app on my iPad and all it does is crash. Please fix this.

Thanks for fixing the premium content! Love the range of parameters you offer. Honestly, the only thing I dont like is being required to turn my device horizontal to see the maps. Would like to have the option to view either orientation. The user interface needs a lot more polish to take it to the next level. But the information offered is good.

Still getting use to flipping to see charts but it is the best yet for model looping outside of using some of the websites out there. I would ask for additions down the road like, OBS/TAF, and maybe difax anal, and of course METSAT. As an old school forecaster I want the old "map wall" on my iPad! Everything in one place! I work in Greenland so the large scale NA NAM is appreciated. Keep up the good work! PS...whats up with the premium stuff? I registered via the iPad but it said go to the website...guess I should visit the website...

The maps themselves are great. It would be nice if the map current options that are chosen show all the time. It is hard to know what map and parameters are going to run without checking each menu. It crashes every once in awhile, but for weather weenies like me it is great, regardless.

For as much time as I spend looking at wx maps (professional mariner) this is a very handy mobile app for my IPhone 4S. No complaints and the five bucks were well spent. Thanks.

This was the weather app I was looking for. Weather apps are a dime a dozen, but if you want to look at the real models and shape your own forecasts, this your app! You can pick different models, different runs and valid times. The out puts range from various thickness, vorticities, etc. This is the app you need when it appears that a storm is getting overhype. A caution: if you do not know what the GFS is, or the importance of the 500mb to 1000mb thickness, this is NOT the app for you. Grab one of the other weather apps, But if ever since those synoptic meteorology courses in college, you still remember the thrill when the latest LFMs were posted, you will love this app!

Every time I go to load up the app the app crashes on the load screen.

Waste of money. You have to keep going back and forth between portrait and landscape mode to select maps then view maps. You can not tell what the current model run is (date). Not sure why you have to register for premium content - I already paid for the pro version. Dont waste your money. No better than what you can already get off the web in an easier more user friendly format. Where is the ECMWF? It is on the web site for free. Also the free web site has more model hours available or NAM and GFS, and the free web site is more user friendly. This is a very unfriendly user app.

Ive down Ive down loaded 295 apps and this is the worst. The options dont load and it simply doesnt work about 75% of the time. Cannot recommend it. Especially bad that I bought the "Pro" version hoping for a better product.

This app may give you more than you want to know. It gives many models and variables, and if you know what they are, youll love this app. If not, it wont teach you. However, it does make info available you cant easily find elsewhere.

Keeps crashing on iPad OS 5.1.1 - drives me insane. Poor human factors because I have to rotate the iPad from portrait to landscape to view the map and then back to portrait to change variables. But it usually crashes then and wont re-start. Waste of my money. I had such great hopes.

Worked fine until the latest OS update. Now it freezes up on the splash screen.
